F the Feds, Texas Closes Its Own Borders

Texas has grown tired of waiting on the incompetent federal government’s reluctance to do anything against the illegal immigration, human trafficking, and drug smuggling. Taking matters in their own hands, Texas officials brought a screeching halt along the Rio Grande section of the US/Mexican border. Essentially, F the Feds. Finally Texas takes matters in their own hands and closes its own borders.

“In the Rio Grande Valley sector, nearly nothing moved in those three weeks,” Texas Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst said in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News. “We shut it down. We had teams of Texas law enforcement in the brush, high-altitude aircraft, gun boats and more. Our intel revealed that the Gulf cartel was growing frustrated with our three-week effort.”

To Hell With Family Tradition

Anyone recall who won at the Grammy’s? I didn’t think so. The news is about the gay push, as 34 couples, straight and gay, were married on stage during the Grammys. Queen Latifah was recently deputized by Los Angeles County to legally conduct wedding ceremonies. She will be signing the certificates for each couple.

The event took place on a stage, resembling a giant chapel. Hip-Hop duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis sang their hit tune “Same Love”. The song is known to be embraced by the LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transsexual) community.

While it may resemble a church, the song lyrics and actions speak otherwise. Macklemore rapped, "Playing God, aw nah here we go/America the brave still fears what we don't know/And God loves all his children, is somehow forgotten/But we paraphrase a book written 3500 years ago."

Paraphrase a book written 3500 years ago? Perhaps he should read the book.

"As it stands today, we have practically zero capability to detect it, much less defend against it," one military officer said of the cruise missile threat.

Wheat - Public Enemy

Labels: , , , , , , , , , ,

On rare occasions, I am able to burn through a book. Normally these times are during my required traveling. Thanks to the 3.5 hour flight from Dallas to Philadelphia, and layovers, accompanied with secluded nights in a hotel room by myself. This trip, I am reading the book “Wheat Belly”, by William Davis.

The book is a fascinating one, to say the least. The message is the danger of modern day wheat with human consumption. The external danger of being obese, foggy mentality, and an irrational addiction to bread. The internal danger of increased glucose, increase gastro disorder, increase issues of schizophrenia , ADHD, and autism are also covered.

Each of these issues is backed up by expert reports, scientific studies, and results from accepted experiments.

Davis provides a good history of the difference from our ancestral wheat in comparison to the current hybrid, genetic modified wheat. Amazingly, just like the ingestion of fluoride, research was missed with proper human consumption of the hybridized wheat. The mentality of wheat is wheat, regardless of how we genetically slice and dice it, should be no issue. Yet Davis provides results, studies, and observational facts to prove otherwise. A comparison of the GI (glycemic index) shows two slices of bread provides more sugar than a bar of candy.

Comparing the GI;

• White bread – 69 • Whole grain bread – 72 • Shredded Wheat cereal – 67 • Table sugar – 59 • Mars Bar (candy bar) – 68 • Snickers (candy bar) – 41 Note the bread is substantially more than dipping your spoon in plain sugar. This observation provides insight of why many of our American citizens are fatter than 40 years ago. Additionally, consider the spiked increase of sugar for those with issues of diabetes.

Look at your grocery store and identify all the products that consist of bread (gluten). We are inundated with the product.

While modern day bread is not the only variable consisting of our obese nature, I never realized how much of a part it does play.

Davis also provides studies showing the breakdown of gluten in the body is converted to polypeptides. Scientist took these polypeptides, and found a peculiar ability to penetrate the blood-brain barrier. These polypeptides would enter the brain and attach themselves to the morphine receptor.

This chemical acted the same way your opiate drugs react to the brain. The polypeptides were termed “exorphines”, short for exogenous morphine-like compounds. This provided the reason for wheat addiction, and psychological effect to the humans ingesting the current wheat.

Amazingly, when the drug naloxone was administered the polypeptides were blocked. This same naloxone drug is used to administer heroin addicts, when entering the emergency rooms. The same drug that kills a high with opiate drugs, also kills the polypeptides, introduced by wheat.

I would suggest all to read the book themselves and perform your own observations. As for me, I am formally going to stop eating bread.

I have a son that is gluten intolerant and I personally have seen the effects when he consumes bread. I am now going to see what the effects of removing bread from my diet will bring.

Gangs In The Military?

Justice Department Blocks Legal Challenge For NSA

The Justice Department worked late last night to block the plaintiffs, from obtaining more details about how the National Security Agency’s (NSA) surveillance effort operates. This halts the current most successful legal challenges to the NSA.

The motion was filed with U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon The request was to halt further proceedings, while appeals go forward in two lawsuits brought by conservative legal activist Larry Klayman.

This comes on the heel, when a federal judge ruled the NSA program collecting information on nearly all telephone companies to, from, within the United States is likely unconstitutional. “U.S. District Court Judge Richard Leon found that the program appears to violate the Fourth Amendment ban on unreasonable searches and seizures.

Federal Government Takes Tips

Restaurant servers will lose their 18% gratuity tip from large groups, as of January 1, 2014. A change in tax policy will prevent restaurant workers from collection automatic gratuities. The 18% added gratuity on a group 8 or more will be automatically included in their payroll. This causes the worker to wait up to two weeks for that tip, as well as paying additional taxes on it. It also means minimum wage workers will get less money, while the federal government gets more. Read More

No Exemption for Catholics On Abortion Pills

Labels: , , , , ,

On Friday the Obama Administration requested the Supreme Court not to exempt Catholic groups from the ObamaCare requirement to offer contraceptive coverage. The argument was over religious beliefs, allowing a reprieve for the “Little Sisters of the Poor Home of the Aged.” Now, the Obama Administration is pushing the Supreme Court to negate the reprieve.

Prior to the effect of the Obamacare going into law, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayer issued a stay, preventing the government from enforcing the contraceptive mandate. The Catholic nuns had argued the contraceptive coverage requirement violates their religious beliefs. To get around the mandate, a “permission slip”, authorizing others to provide the contraceptives and “abortion drugs”. Either this or pay a fine.

The Obama administration says. religious nonprofit groups such of this one can certify that they don’t want to provide contraceptive coverage, and it would be up to a third party administrator to decide whether to provide it.

11 Attorneys General Cite Obamacare Fix Illegal

Labels: , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

No less than 11 attorney generals from the GOP state the Obama administration is breaking the law by repeatedly making changes to Obamacare without going through Congress. The use of President Obama’s executive action is an over-reach of his powers. The attorneys general criticizes Obama, using executive action allowing insurance companies to keep offering health plans, that have been canceled for not meeting Obamacare’s more strict standards

.

The issue

“We support allowing citizens to keep their health insurance coverage, but the only way to fix this problem-ridden law is to enact changes lawfully: through Congressional action,” the attorneys general wrote in a letter to Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. “The illegal actions by this administration must stop.” This healthcare fix is “flatly illegal under federal constitutional and statutory law”, they say. The seven-page letter says the President is violating both his responsibility to execute laws faithfully and the separation of powers between the branches of government.

  The Group

The 11 attorney generals signing the letter included the states Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas and Virginia. West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey wrote the letter . Officials point to the 1985 Heckler vs Chaney case. The Supreme Court concluded some enforcement actions of laws might be subject to judicial review first. “We are deeply concerned that this Administration is consistently rewriting new rules and effectively inventing statutory provisions to operationalize a flawed law,” the attorneys general wrote. “And the irony, of course, is that the changes being put forth to fix the disastrous exchanges will ultimately destroy the market and increase health insurance premiums for customers who played by the rules.”

  Other issues

HHS continues to “ignore the widespread public outcry over the security of consumers’ private information” on exchanges,” they wrote, adding that they’re concerned about the administration’s decision to “not propose and implement rigorous privacy standards for outreach personnel.” “Each of us is charged with protecting our states’ consumers,” Morrisey said. “Once a person’s private information is breached, it is very hard to ensure it is secure again. We are troubled that the Administration has not even proposed implementing criminal background checks on people who have access to sensitive private information.”

Summary

The letter was written December 26, 2013 to HHS Kathleen Sebelius to convey concerns of illegality. The seven page letter provides the concerns, citing specific laws and regulations being broken by the Obama Administration. The “fix” placed by the Obama Administration breaks the constitutional law, while also creating a new statutory obligation or new rule. In essence, Obama is attempting to create new laws, without Congress approval, while breaking existing laws already in place. The letter then proposes commonsense safeguards on “ways to ensure protection for information”.

NSA is Stasi

News continues to flow in with Obama raising his personal armada, to rival the current military force in America. Those awake in America see our rights being removed in waves. Recent revealing’s of the Obama Administration bugging German Chancellor Merkel caused the chancellor to be furious. Merkel anger has caused a statement by her to compare NSA to Stasi. Strong words, when you realize Merkel comes from the country of Nazi Germany.

The release of information comes from Edward Snowden, who will testify on the NSA scandal to a European parliament inquiry next month. Washington is angry this will go on and is applying pressure to the EU in hopes of stopping the testimony.

Merkel said, “This is like the Stasi.” Her anger and outrage in viewing NSA actions under the Obama Administration indicates the testimony will continue.
